Minister of Music
When:
The Minister of Music should meet as often as needed, no less than once a week with the members of the choir, Praise and Worship team. The Minister of Music will meet with the Senior Pastor at least once a month.
Where:
At the church for all events, also try to have an outreach of some type. This will be done by singing at different events for church anniversaries, revivals, dedications and special announced events. All outside events must be coordinated with the Senior Pastor in advance.
Why:
19 Speak out to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, offering praise with voices [[a]and instruments] and making melody with all your heart to the Lord, 20 At all times and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.
Qualifications:
- Saved, sanctified, and Holy Spirit filled
- Evidence of God working in their life and witness by others
- A calling in this ministry
- Have a desire of self improvement
- Not easily provoked
- Teachable
- Reachable
- Working on or completed a lay "Minister Certificate"
- Be submissive to the Pastor
